Genetic Art
My efforts are aimed toward the abstraction of nucleic acid sequences in ceramic forms. A string of genetic bases may be thought of as chemical numbers (ACGT become 0123) brought to life through development and aging. The broad topic of genetics hence provides my artistic inspiration.
